PINEAPPLE-LEMON CAKE

PINEAPPLE-LEMON CAKE
1 box duncan hines lemon supreme cake mix, bake per package directions in 3-9" cake pans
or in jelly roll cake pan for sheet cake
mix in large sauce pan
1 box lemon jello cook and serve pudding mix with
2 cups sugar, add
1 large can of crushed pineapple, juice and all
1 stick margarine or butter (1/2 will do also], cook on stove top
stir constantly till boiling and thickened.
Cool cake layers completly, slice in half with bread knife and fill with above mixture, laying slices cut side up till last layer, cut side down. Cover outside with remaining filling and serve. Great hot!
