My best guess is Either my Blue Polish or the Gold Laced. If Frizz came from a smaller egg, it would be from the Blue. If a larger egg, the Gold Laced. I know both hens have laid eggs that hatched White chicks before with Partybird. The Gold Laced produces either a White, or a Barred & the Blue either a Blue or a White with him.

He sure is .... My guess would be a hen. Only due to the fact that in most cases, a hen will take the traits of its father and a male will take the traits of its mother. But I won't be sure until I hear a crow or see an egg!! Do you know for sure or a guess who Frizzes mother is?

LOL My Partybird is sure making some pretty little chicks! Have you figured out if Frizz is a cockerel or a pullet? So hard with Frizzles!

Thanks, Ron. Have my forced air at 99.5 (average) & my still air at 100.9. Both at the top of the eggs. I count the day after I put them in as day 1.

Hi Paris. I don't have any more to add in the thread. But if the temps are correct, they should start pipping on the 20th - 21st day (counting the day you set them as zero) .... I don't think egg size would mean a 3 day difference. Only, that they would warm up faster on the first day, and when you cool down some, simulating the hen. So a day early is feasible. Remember, with still air, the top of the egg area should read 101-102 degrees .........

Do you have any ideas for my Incubation thread? I am really at a loss!
