    Default royal palm turkey poults sexing under a month old help

    hello does anyone have guesses on sexing royal palm chicks? we have royal palm tom and hens that look like correct coloring (ancestry not known) some chicks butter yellow some with light grey tone. just wondered if sexing was alittle easier or not so lucky... thanks w ky farm

    from what I've read so far - if they are from the same hatch, the toms will quickly start to get bigger than the hens. Only other thing I've determined is that at about 2 months + the toms start losing their head feathers.
    Last thing was that toms will sort of strut around and be fancy! Funny description but I've seen mine do it. Didn't know at the time it was because they were males.
